Advised a prominent US hedge fund on various debt restructuring matters following failure by our client’s partner to fulfil its obligations to our client under a put option. Advised our client on various insolvency matters in connection with its portfolio. 

We advised a major Russian producer of building materials on restructuring its debt obligations and related reform of its corporate structure. The engagement mostly consisted of comprehensive advice on different bankruptcy-related procedures.

Acted for one of the biggest real estate developers in Russia, on restructuring its joint venture development financing facility with a major western bank and its intra-group funding arrangements with its joint venture partner.

We are acting for the Italian Administrator of Alitalia.  We are providing advice in respect of cross border insolvency issues; UK pensions law and the position opposite the UK Pension Protection Fund.

We advised a creditors’ pool on different aspects of procedures applied in a bankruptcy case of a regional breakstone producer

We are currently advising Eurohypo on its loan to the administrator of a borrower, following the borrower’s failure to complete the construction of the proposed development and to ensure satisfactory pre-lets.

We advised shareholders in a regional mineral fertilisers manufacturer on financial curing of the entity

We advised on organising and holding an auction of property previously owned by a representative office of a federal  government institution

We acted for the biggest bondholder creditor of the car parts manufacturer Federal Mogul, Icahn Associates.  Advising in respect of the cross-border restructuring of the Federal Mogul Group which is currently in Chapter 11 in the US and Administration in the UK.

We advised a pool of creditors on legal formalisation of acquired rights of claim and different procedural aspects of  holding creditor meetings

For a major land-line telephone operator, we developed and implemented a complex restructuring programme allowing its counterparties to settle with the client and its subsidiaries and improve the performance of the client’s holding company

We act for Tesco on a range of issues arising out of the insolvency of certain suppliers, distributors and contractors, including setting up an innovative funding arrangement when a developer was in administration to ensure the timely opening of several new stores.

We advised the board of directors of the MFI Group in respect of their duties, specifically in the context of the company’s solvency position.  Advising in relation to decisions taken in respect of the company and assisting in documenting this decision-making process.  Advising in respect of the company's relationships and obligations with other companies within the group.

Advised the boards of directors of the TXU companies within the TXU Europe Group in connection with advice on sales of business, wind down and cross jurisdictional advice.
