Moscow Circuit Federal Arbitration Court upheld the position of the lower courts and the defendant (Unilever Rus) and ruled that the alleged improper comparison with MAGGI (Nestle Russia) branded products in Knorr TV commercials was not proven.

In a lawsuit contesting a resolution passed by the Chamber for Patent Disputes of Rospatent regarding early termination of legal protection for a trademark, our lawyers successfully defended the interests of a leading big foreign cosmetics production company in the RF Supreme Arbitration Court.

GBLP lawyers Acted for VimpelCom - one of the leading Russian companies on the mobile services market in a court action concerning infringement of copyright and related rights as a result of use of a famous Russian song in a TV commercial.

In the UK, we advised luxury accessories brand Aseef Vaza in a copyright and design rights dispute with a high street retailer, in relation to Aseef Vaza’s Pagoda clutch handbag.  The dispute arose when Aseef Vaza found a clutch bag being sold by the retailer that appeared to replicate key features of his design. The dispute was settled by the  retailer agreeing immediately to remove the bags from sale, deliver up their unsold bags and pay Aseef Vaza’s legal costs and a compensation payment relating to the bags sold

Advising a software house in the UK and Russia on misuse of confidential information and copyright infringement issues as a result of a big team of ex-employees setting up a competing business and collaborating with our client’s biggest customer.

Representing a world’s leading Internet services and search tools provider in a dispute over dissemination of defamatory information returned in search results, with the plaintiff subsequently withdrawing its lawsuit.
